Description

This book is the atlas version of Wilkins' "300 inch lunar map", printed at a reduced scale. The lunar map is divided into 25 sheets of approximately 20 x 20 cm, resulting in a lunar diameter of approximately 1 metre. The atlas contains a geographical dictionary that lists all the named formations shown on the maps. The interesting thing is that the geographical dictionary is spiral-bound on the left and the maps are spiral-bound on the right of the book, so that you can view two pages of the geographical dictionary and a related map page at the same time.
